Learning Outcomes

Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering UNY formulated the programme learning outcomes (PLO) based on government policy, vision and mission of the university and degree programme, and feedback from stakeholders. In general, the PLOs  cover domains: attitude, knowledge, specific skills, generic skills and additional competency which are specified as follows.
ATTITUDE
a. Being devoted to God Almighty and showing a religious attitude;
b. Upholding human values ​​in carrying out duties based on religion, morals and ethics;
c. Internalizing academic values, norms, and ethics;
d. Acting as citizens who are proud and love the country, having nationalism and a sense of responsibility to the state and nation;
e. Appreciate the diversity of cultures, views, religions and beliefs, as well as the original opinions of others;
f. Contributing to improving the quality of the life of the community, nation, state, and the progress of Pancasila-based civilization;
g. Working together and having social sensitivity as well as caring for the community and the environment;
h. Obeying laws and disciplines in the life of society and the state;
i. Internalizing the spirit of independence, struggle, and entrepreneurship;
j. Demonstrating an attitude of responsibility for work in their fields of expertise independently.
KNOWLEDGE
a. Mastering the theoretical concepts of natural science, mathematical applications; engineering principles necessary for practical knowledge of industrial electronics;
b. Mastering the principles and techniques of control system design or industrial electronic systems;
c. Mastering the current principles and issues in the development of industrial electronics in general;
d. Mastering knowledge of communication techniques and the latest and latest technological developments in industrial electronics.
SPECIAL SKILLS
a. Able to complete work in the electronics field and be able to analyze, show performance with measurable quality and quantity
b. Master the concept of practical knowledge in electronics and being able to formulate solutions to procedural problems
c. Able to manage work groups and compile comprehensive written reports
d. Responsible for their own work and can be given responsibility for the achievement of group work
GENERAL SKILLS
a. Apply logical, critical, and systematic thinking in the context of the development or implementation of science and / or technology in accordance with the field of Industrial Electronics.
b. Implement science, technology in accordance with the field of Industrial Electronics based on scientific principles, procedures and ethics to produce solutions, ideas, and compile a scientific description of the results of the study in the form of a final project.
c. Make the right decisions in the context of solving problems in the field of Industrial Electronics, based on the results of an analysis of information and data in the work environment.
d. Develop and maintain a network of mentors, colleagues and peers, both inside and outside the institution.
